At the end of 2017, I needed to re-evaluate my surroundings at home. I was feeling overwhelmed at work and just loaded with stress. I hated walking into my own condo and looking at old furniture that I had purchased with my ex-boyfriend. The more I looked at it, the more I wanted to get rid of it. I hated every piece of furniture in my home. My closets were crowded and had zero organization to it. My dining room table was falling apart and didn’t match anything in my home. I am a Chicago girl, through and through. Everyone knows how obsessed I am with my city. One of favorite things to do in Chicago, is eat! Anyone who is anyone that has either visited or lived in Chicago, knows that we have some of the best food in the world. From the traditional Chicago staples (Chicago style hot dogs or deep dish pizza) to the number one restaurant in the world (Alinea).
If you haven’t met me by now, you may not be aware of my love for New York. It’s a city that grabs at my heart-strings every time I am there. Why don’t I live there you ask? Because I would have to sell my soul just to afford a month’s worth of rent. All jokes aside, it is a city I call my second home and would love to live there.
